The unicorn let herself relax a bit, and warily approached the blond woman, stopping just out of her reach, and looked her over more closely. She seemed like a good person, even if she had the manner of a predator. But the little man behind her was certainly not a predator.
"No, I'm not from around here. I don't even know how I got here, or even where 'here' is," she said, looking at the short man, wondering if he was some kind of dwarf, or gnome. He was certainly the right size. She looked back at the tall woman, still a bit hesitant. She carefully moved a bit closer, close enough for the woman to reach out and touch her, if she was so inclined. "Do either of you know where 'here' is?"

Tamora relaxed too. The unicorn was clearly not hostile. "Not a clue," she replied to her query. "I think we're all in the same boat...we just need to stay together and figure this place out, who brought us here, and how we get back." Stepping forward carefully, she slowly reached out to place a hand on the unicorn's pure white muzzle. The creature was beautiful, she had to admit; enthralling even. "Where were you originally from? I don't think any of the games in the arcade contain unicorns."

"Well, Mega, as you have introduced yourself, I am Schmendrick," he greeted with a bow. He looked up with a calm smile and continued, "A magician. A humble traveling magician. At your service." Being with a unicorn made him too calm about this sort of thing.
He stood back up and blinked. "Speaking of traveling, you weren't, perchance, taken in by a circus, were you?" Though Mommy Fortuna was gone, he doubted that many other circuses would pass up the chance to carry a lion
"A pleasure to meet you then, Schmendrick," the large male said, smiling at him. What an odd name, he mused to himself despite the smile that graced his muzzle.
"A circus?" Mega cocked his head, mulling over the unfamiliar word. "I don't think so, but then I don't really know what one is, you see," he said, a puzzled look on his face as he looked at the wizard.

"Ah, right, well it's a traveling troupe of performers and animals that ride in carts," Schmendrick answered the lion casually. "I just assumed as you are so far away from your grasslands, I would assume. Seems to be too cold of a climate for your kind, naturally. Of course, I've been called a fool for such assumptions before."
That was when a familiar voice hit the magician's ear. He looked around and raised an eyebrow. His eyes narrowed in on almost across the camp that he saw a unicorn. Now, it was very unlikely that it could have been the one he made friends with, but there was something unsettling with how close it was to this encampment. "If you'll excuse me, my fine beast." He tipped his hat, before running across the way.
"Uh, no! No, you really shouldn't do that!" Schmendrick announced, waving his hands a little wildly. His eyes were wide as he ran. "Magical creatures don't really take too kindly to being approached so suddenly. It can get them very upset." He stopped just short of the unicorn, realizing he was making his own advice look stupid. He palmed his eyes a moment, before taking a breath. He stood up and looked at the woman with a straight, if someone dull, stare. "Really, you should be more careful than to just touch magical creatures without their permission," he half-panted.

The unicorn took a half-step back when the blond woman reached her hand out, but didn't move out of her reach. Her nostrils flared a bit as the woman's hand came to rest on her muzzle. It hadn't been so very long ago when another mortal woman, Molly Grue, had touched her in much the same way.
"Game? Arcade? I don't understand," she said. She knew what games were, even if she had never had much to do with them, but an arcade? The term was a new one. She snorted and drew her head back when someone nearby shouted, and ran towards her, her head moving out of the woman's reach as she stepped back. Her head swiveled on her neck as she turned to stare at whoever was making such a commotion, her attention immediately drawn to the runner.
Schmendrick. The magician who's magic had turned her mortal for a time. She had experienced love and regret for the first time, and still remembered what it was like. Just as she remembered the magician, even if she had never expected to see him again.
"Hello, magician. It seems we're to share another quest," she said, her tone one of fondness, and melancholy.

Removing her hand upon being chided worriedly by a young wizard that barreled into the area, Tamora arched an eyebrow at him. Granted, she didn't know much about unicorns, and Amalthea had seemed hesitant to allow her to touch her muzzle, but still, she couldn't suppress a somewhat irritated huff; she didn't usually take orders. Nevertheless, she stepped back.
Amalthea seemed confused by her mention of the arcade, but Tamora didn't press the subject. She seemed to know the young wizard.
