Name: Starscream
Age: Several thousand (as a human, he appears in his early 20’s)
Gender: Male
Hero or Villain?: Hero
Canon or OC?: Canon: Transformers Armada
Personality:
Starscream is a little bit of an introvert, unless something threatens his honor. When there’s a problem, he prefers to think of it alone. He used to have a serious issue with making his own decisions and was, admittedly, was not the guy you’d want to put trust into: now, however, he’s learned to finally make a choice. Even if he still remains slow to make commitments, he’s better at making good with them. He will defend himself and his morals, possibly rather viciously depending on who’s threatening him. Starscream is infamously without a true allegiance and can be difficult to control. Although not a social butterfly, he’s been known to place upmost trust into those who he admires or considers a friend – that being his fatal flaw. He does not forget significant actions directed at him: good or bad. He views himself a sort of a guardian figure to the smaller or weaker and is much more likely to play nice with them rather than someone his own level.
Appearance:
As a robot, he was a red and white Decepticon jet (Seeker) with one wing which became a sword.
Currently as a human, he stands a little less than 6 feet. He’s very skinny but is quite sturdy with rather broad shoulders. His skin is pale and his hair is black with the exception of a grey stripe on his bangs. He has a sharp pointed nose and sunken in eyes. He wears a red jacket with a high collar and large yellow straps running over his shoulders and chest. The arms of the jacket are grey with white cuffs. The shirt under is primarily red with a dull blue center stripe which divides it into thirds. Black gloves cover his hands. His pants are red, until the knee where they are white with a black stripe. His shoes are red and black. His eyes are orange in color.

Brief History:
Starscream was a Decepticon since creation and knew nothing but the Decepticon code for the vast majority of his life. He was conditioned to be a warrior and earned a place as one of faction leader Megatron’s elite. Starscream did not like to disappoint and took pride in his skills, however Megatron was difficult if not impossible to earn respect from. In fact, the Seeker was basically Megatron’s scapegoat to beat on when anything went wrong. Because of his tendency to take things personally, he was hit harder by the abuse than most other Decepticons.
Eventually, thoroughly finished with Megatron’s crap, Starscream decided to challenge the larger Decepticon. He was beaten into the dirt. What Megatron believed had broken Starscream only later propelled him further to seek revenge. But immediately after, the rebellious jet was thrown in submission, even if he didn't necessarily enjoy being a Decepticon. What didn’t help was this lingering “feeling” he discovered he had – a sort of affection for the smaller robot race, Minicons, whom the Decepticons basically used a mere tools for war. Although, this emotion he heavily suppressed and denied at every opportunity.
After surviving when Megs basically left him for dead during a battle, Starscream finally went maverick, stole some of the Decepticon’s weapons and fled. He was saved from being killed for his treachery by the Autobots and reluctantly accepted amongst their ranks. Most believed that he was a lost cause, claiming that Autobots and Decepticons were simply “programmed differently”. During his brief time with the Autobots, he was awkwardly approached for friendship by the adorable anime children of the series. The only girl of the children, Alexis, in particular was looking to make Starscream a permanent member of the Autobots (she totally had a crush on him btw).
However, it was not meant to last. Spearheaded by the later-traitor Thrust, he threw away their trust and rejoined the Decepticons. Megatron was iffy on taking him back and decided he’d let him have one last chance to live – if he destroyed planet Earth. Because he had friends there, Starscream hesitated for as long as he could before Optimus Prime sacrificed himself to save the Earth when the giant weapon, Space Colony ARK – I mean, the Hydra Canon was fired. (as per usual, Oppy was alive again within one episode).
The other Decepticons went back to their home planet of Cybertron and managed to pull off the quickest complete takeover EVER. But it turned out that Thrust happened to be in-cahoots with the evil planet-eater/Death Star, Unicron. Feeling used, Starscream decided he’d kill Thrust and chased after him. Another Decepticon and an Autobot were after the traitor as well, and the anime children soon were taken along for the ride. Starscream saved the kids from some collapsing rocks when they caught up to him, only getting Alexis to insist further that he was still their friend. Thrust was confronted by the robots, but him and another traitor, Sideways, ran off all like “whoop whoop whoop whoop!”. Acid was suddenly released into the chambers and Starscream was stuck having to save Alexis and her Minicon (I’m kidding, he did so quite willingly). It was discovered that Unicron was disgusted as the planet’s moon and he was gonna eat the planet and kill them all (ya know... because he can). Starscream turned down a second chance to join the Autobots, knowing that he could not be trusted to make commitments.
Starscream skulked back to the Decepticons and tried in vain to convince Megatron that Unicron was going to destroy the planet and they needed to ally the Autobots in order to stand any chance. Of course, Megatron was too proud to have any of that and was very dismissive of Starscream’s pleas. So, Megatron went off to do his own thing – and that happened to be fighting Optimus. Realizing he needed to somehow convince the two sides to come together, Starscream finally made a clear choice. He placed himself in between the feuding faction leaders and challenged Megatron to a fight. The two went at it and Megs was confused by his subordinates newfound strength. What further shocked him was that Starscream allowed himself to be impaled by the Star Saber sword. Now that he had his attention, Starscream told him to join with the Autobots one last time. In order to prove that Unicron was real, Starscream open fired on the planet-sized monster and was immediately obliterated into dust. He has chosen to sacrifice himself to ensure that the two factions united. His death not in vain, and the Autobots and Decepticons created an alliance and defeated Unicron. YAAAYYYY.
Sample Post:
The thin form of the former-robot moved swiftly through the forest, his head pointed down. Orange eyes were lost in thought. His lips were pressed tight. The last thing he knew, he was dying. He knew he would die. That was not what was troubling him. It was the fact that his Spark appeared to have been placed into a new body. That was apparent upon his awakening, but if he somehow had actually survived, he anticipated that he’d be given a new robotic body. Furthermore, to the best of his knowledge, he wasn’t aware that a Transformer’s life source could be transferred into a human body. Frankly, he rather disliked his new body. It was too small: it couldn’t fly: all and all, it was very defenseless. Starscream didn’t have a real dislike of humans, like most Decepticons, but he had no idea what it even meant to be one. By the looks of the environment, he assumed he was back on Earth. Trees and tall foliage surrounded him; it was almost peaceful. Maybe some humans – well, some fellow-humans now – would be there to allow him to get his bearings.
He recalled that some had a belief of reincarnation. Could that be what happened to him? Was he getting a second chance? Starscream felt something oppressive about his surroundings. It felt like something was wrong, or something bad was coming. The new human’s lids lifted alertly and he paused walking. Slowly, so that he did not make noise to obscure his hearing, he reached down and plucked a hard stick from the ground. It wasn’t his sword, but he needed to improvise, especially when learning the limits and requirements of a more frail body. He took the broad end of the stick in both hands and held it before his chest, tensed by the sudden decent of suspicion.
