Rancor eventually spotted the mostly human and canine crowd. Ears folding back, he listened as they continued their marry chat. The rather large feline turned his head back, dragging the tapir behind him. The animal, barely living at that point, kicked out and hit one of his shoulders. The tiger creature wasn't very happy about his hyena shadow. He was never a fan of a the hyena race, no doubt feeding into the ongoing big cat vs hyena rivalry. Rancor didn't care about proving a stereotype true. He was "racist" toward a lot of species, and human happened to be one of them. Bringing his green eyes back, he was a little confused about the appearance of some of the ape-men. The woman looked perfectly fine, like he expected humans to look; however, there was also a freakishly huge green-skinned male and an adult that was barely the height of a child. As for the pups, sure, they were really testing his nerves, but there was nothing interesting about them. They were discussing hunting or some rubbish. One doesn't simply talk about hunting in the field - any potential prey with half a brain would be running for the hills if they overheard. The sight of Hulk seriously made the saber tooth apprehensive of going out.
The big cat gave a quick look to the hyena, who he supposed was going to be his partner for the time being, before placing his paws over his catch. The tapir was still clinging to life. Rancor drove his knife-teeth deep into the back of the animal's neck and then pivoted his head around, holding the body of the poor animal in one place. The tapir let out all the scream it had left as Rancor twisted its neck around to an unnatural angle. Eventually several sections of the spine cracked nosily and the shrieking of the animal went silent. One death-throw sent a small amount of leaves and twigs out. Letting go, the feline's throat rumbled a bit as he let out a deep chuff. Killing the tapir caused a bit of a racket, which was entirely what he was counting on.
Rancor was curious if the sounds of the killing would be enough to spook the foolish heroes.

"Hmm?" Hulk hardly took note of Joe as the sound of a squeal and branches breaking nearby caught his attention instantly.
"You lot stay here," he growled, shooting a glare at the trio before moving towards the sound, makeshift weapon raised as he pushed his way through the thick jungle undergrowth.
"Come on out! I'm warning you, my strength may be gone but rest assured I can still beat you to a pulp," he threatened.

The psychotic hyena continued following the large feline, unaware of his feelings, not that she would've cared if she did. She bit back a bark of laughter when the tapir showed it still had some fight in it. Half dead though the creature was, and being dragged by a creature that has its fangs deep in its throat, and still it didn't give up. Vurugu always appreciated such a strong will to survive. She looked around the big feline as best she could, wondering what he saw ahead, since he'd stopped. Crouching down as low as she could, she caught sight of the odd group. A couple of humans, and a couple of dogs. Strange spotted ones. But far stranger was the huge green man holding part of a tree.
The hyena's attention was distracted when the large feline glanced back at her. She returned his gaze with a crazed grin, meant to be friendly, or at least as friendly as she could get. She watched with intense interest when he finished off the tapir, using the brute strength of his body to twist its neck until it snapped. Her eyes gleamed as her grin widened, exposing all of her teeth.
"Come on out! I'm warning you, my strength may be gone but rest assured I can still beat you to a pulp."
Vurugu let out a sudden howl of laughter at the threat, then glanced at the big feline, amusement gleaming in her eyes. "Seems like someone wants to play," she said, feeling her blood start to rush in anticipation as he pushed her way into view, grinning up at the green giant, looking him over, and circling around him. Prey caught, she could devote some time to a good fight, if one presented itself.
"Do you need to use a tree to be dangerous, or are you strong enough without it?" she asked, ignoring the others nearby.

Vurugu let out a sudden howl of laughter at the threat, then glanced at the big feline, amusement gleaming in her eyes. "Seems like someone wants to play," she said, feeling her blood start to rush in anticipation as he pushed her way into view, grinning up at the green giant, looking him over, and circling around him. Prey caught, she could devote some time to a good fight, if one presented itself.
Hulk stiffened at the laughter, letting out a low warning growl as the hyena appeared. "Play? Huh, not with the likes of you", he growled. The giant watched as the female started to circle around him and his jade eyes narrowed.
"Do you need to use a tree to be dangerous, or are you strong enough without it?" she asked, ignoring the others nearby.
Hulk snapped the tree in two. "Bring it," he grinned.

Cadpig and Raine went into the jungle to do some hunting and Cadpig said to Raine " watch this as a catch em ".
She then heard a noise, she said to Raine " hey who's that green giant and some other guy?"

"Don't know let's ask them" Raine said to Cadpig.
So Raine and Cadpig went up to these guys " hey I'm Raine and this is my sister Cadpig, what are your names?" Raine said to the Green guy, the hyena and some other guy.

Rancor kept to his spot as Vurugu went past him and into the open. When he saw what looked like some sort of super-human, he knew better than to run out. There were a few that could match him in battle and he wasn't headstrong enough to believe that he could defeat anyone. Even so, Rancor had a dislike of men. He'd been shot once, but it didn't look like the brutish human had a gun so Rancor felt no reason to fear. A thud came from the leaves as the departed tapir was dropped. Paws made soft sounds as the saber toothed animal kept to the undergrowth, crawling around so he would not be facing Hulk head-on. As he prowled, he could see and hear the female hyena go on. She reminded him of one of his followers that he particularly disliked. Rancor came to a stop once he was almost behind the large man. A look was present in his green eyes that gave away that he had been put into predator mode again. The look faltered one he spotted the pups. How oblivious were they? Rancor could have flicked them away with one claw (well, if felines were capable of moving their phalanges in such a way). He decided he'd leave them alone. It wasn't worth the bother to go after them.
The striped creature pushed himself through the leafy cover and moved parallel to the Hulk. Rancor opened his mouth so that his saber teeth were above his lower jaw and emitted a grumbling snarl. Bringing his neck back down level with his spine, the feline beast continued to stalk, awaiting an opening. His lengthy tail flicked over some grass behind him.
"Does your size come from breeding, human, or by modification? I am curious," A falsely polite rumble came from the cat.

The psychotic hyena's grin widened when the green giant snapped his weapon in half and discarded it. This could prove to be interesting. While he had the shape of a human, he was certainly far bigger than any she'd ever seen, and seemed to be far stronger. Just how quick he was still remained to be seen.
"Oh, so you do want to play! For a moment there, I was afraid you were going to be boring," she said, eying him closely as she continued circling. She paused briefly when a couple more puppies showed up, asking her name. She just stared back for a moment, her grin fading as she looked them over. They didn't look like they'd be able to provide her with a good fight. "I don't care what your names are, and I don't care to give you mine."
She returned her attention to the green giant, and caught a glimpse of the big feline moving close by. Interesting. Maybe he wanted to join in the fun, too. She'd been about to lunge for the giant's belly, but she decided to hold off for the moment.

The jade giant's head jerked in the direction of the voice, taking his eyes off the hyena for a moment. "Modification, Gamma radiation if you must know," he growled. "But enough about me. Are you going to come out and face me or just stay there like a coward?" he grinned, his brow lowering. Hulk's head snapped back to focus on Vurugu
"Ready when you are," he said as his foot slid back as if he was ready to charge at the female.

After hearing Vurugu's respect towards her and Cadpig gave Vurugu a classic Cadpig verbal spray she said " hey, we asked for your name so I demand you answer the question junior and show us some respect."
Cadpig then walked with Raine to the green big guy and asked hi there " I'm Cadpig this is my brother Raine and you are ?"

"There's a difference between cowardice and strategy," Rancor purred, his shoulders rocking loosely above his spine.
The large feline's paws continued to step lightly over the litter on the ground. The direction of his muzzle roughly always pointing in the direction of the humanoid. Rancor liked to consider his unusual power at natural, even-though his genes were chosen selectively by human beings. As far as he was concerned, natural is defined as being born with the potential for a great skill (unless you're malformed, then you apparently cease being "natural"). Living up to this potential is the trial that Rancor believes makes one worthy his respect. However, the way the man gained his strength did not seem worth his admiration; it was a given, not earned. The saber tooth almost caught one of the pups under his paws, scarcely able to see them because of the diminutive stature. Toxic green eyes narrowed as his graying muzzle scowled.
"Bugger off, children. I'll tell war tales once I finish," The saber tooth spat, sending a little stray blood flying off the ends of his teeth.
Rancor turned his upper body and leaned to his hind legs. The cat made a short jump toward the green creature, spreading his fingers and unsheathing his claws. A small grumble came from his throat as he tossed himself foreword. Rancor made a grab for the large human's ankles with the hooks of his claws, looking to take out the tendon.

Stephanie came to find her sister Amy and was getting worried that she wouldn't find her, she said to herself " i need to learn how hunt", then she saw this saber tooth and asked it " hey could you teach me how to hunt?"

Vurugu just snorted at the small puppy's demand, not impressed. She was never one to give in to such pathetic demands. "If you want to know my name, you have to earn it. Fight me for the right, and I'll consider telling you. Otherwise, stay out of my way, and I won't bite you in half!" she snarled, fangs bared in a psychotic grin.
She looked back in time to see the big feline make an assault on the green giant, and her grin widened, eyes gleaming in excitement. She'd have to see if an opening presented itself. The fight-loving hyena had to admire the way the big cat went for a crippling blow right at the start, even if she disdained the idea of cutting any fight short. She glanced at the puppies gathered in the clearing. "Now things are really getting good!"

Hulk twisted and aimed a hard kick at the saber's chest, hoping to make contact before those killer claws could rip apart his tendon. The jade giant knew if that would be destroyed in this strange new world it, might not even heal, and even if it did it would be a slow process. Hulk let out a snarl and whirled around to face the dogs.
"SHUT UP AND GET OUT OF HERE!" he roared, eyes gleaming green "If you want to live, move it!" He then made a mock lunge at the puppies.
