Personality: Task oriented, stoic, and unfailingly loyal. A trained war dog, Whisper has little understanding of what it truly means to be off duty.

Brief History: A product of a genetic engineering program to design superior war dogs, Whisper, serial number K-9 4582, was inducted into the Imperial Federation Military, Ground Recon Division shortly after her birth. Designed to have increased intelligence and stamina, she was trained for a year to be one half of a reconnaissance team alongside a human handler. After passing her training, she spent the next two years serving on the battlefield, acquiring several injuries along the way, and plenty of experience.
When a full-scale war broke out, Whisper joined the many thousands of soldiers heading for the front. However, as fate would have it, she would never see the battlefield. As her landing pod plummeted towards a hostile planet, she blacked out, about to be plunged into a completely different kind of fight...
Sample Post: Post-landing self-evaluation. As per her training, Whisper quickly tested her motor functions, depth perception, and senses. After assuring that they all checked out, she looked around, quickly taking cover under some thick jungle plants. She was perplexed by the complete absence of her landing pod, battle harness, and any signs of an orbital drop. While the target planet did have a jungle, she was far from the only one deployed to said jungle. And without her battle harness, she had no means to attempt to contact anyone.
Still acting according to her training, she waited for approximately thirty minutes, eyes, ears, and nose all working to attempt to locate any of the rest of her handler's squad. After that time had passed, she silently moved out from under the plants, on the lookout for water. Once she had found herself a water source, she could begin making broader searches for the rest of her battalion.
